Masters in Science | Public Horticulture
The Longwood Graduate Program is one of the premier educational opportunities in public horticulture. Established in 1967, the Program is a partnership between Longwood Gardens and the University of Delaware, providing a fully-funded graduate experience of academic coursework, research, experiential learning, international exposure, and community engagement. The Program prepares transformational leaders through an innovative and practical immersion at one of the great gardens of the world. Our graduates earn a M.S. in Public Horticulture and attain prominent leadership positions at gardens and cultural institutions across the U.S. and abroad. Student engage in thesis research, coursework, and hands-on experiences. Projects include a Professional Outreach Project, an International Experience, and organizing a Symposium.
